About Carearoo

Carearoo is a small Australian company with one job: drafting NDIS reports from a clinician's notes, on the clinician's own template, so the clinician can spend their time on clinical reasoning instead of the blank page.

Why we built this

The NDIS has transformed lives across Australia. But the administrative burden it places on the professionals who deliver those supports is unsustainable.

Reports eat the evening

Carearoo was founded by Aun Kazmi, who is not a clinician. Every version of the product has been shaped by feedback from practising Australian OTs and allied health clinicians: what NDIA planners look for, where reports get sent back, and what a draft has to do before it's worth opening. The clinician reviews and signs off every word.

Where we're going

Today Carearoo drafts FCA, SIL, progress, AT, home modification and behaviour support reports for OTs, speech pathologists, physiotherapists, psychologists and behaviour support practitioners. The next step is the same step, done better: more report types, better drafts, and more of the reasoning planners want already in place.
